FINAL UPDATE — Flash DEAD DEAD Dead.

128 months ago, Steve Jobs dealt the first blow to the terrible, buggy and security fiasco called Flash. Today, 6 years after I told you it was dead, Flash has indeed given its final death rattle. And this time, it’s official!

That message will have begun popping up on computers all around the world, bringing an end to an era. And era I participated in as a web developer, and called for the death of as an early iPad adopter! It is best to do as it asks and uninstall Flash PLayer, for the final time.

I jokingly used a play on the famous “I’m not dead yet” scene from the Monty Python And The Holy Grail movie as a featured image, but until I just now reviewed the scene I’ve realized just how incredibly apropos it was.
